Frequently Asked Questions

Did we answer your question? Contact us for more inquiries.

What happens if there's inclement weather?

The majority of a camper’s day is spent outside, which means that the weather forecast is something we are always watching. We do have “rainy day” plans already prepared for the occasional thunderstorm. If there is dangerous weather warnings like tornado watches, we retreat to our large meeting room and wait until it’s clear.

Do the buses have air conditioning?

Yes they do, we use brand new buses that are equiped with air conditioning, as well as seat belts.

What do you do for campers with special diets?

We honor and provide for almost every dietary restriction. Special diet requests/notes are a part of our secure online registration process. If you need to let us know about any special diets or notes for your campers, just give us a call at 936-295-7641 or email us at klanham@forestglen.org

Can campers bring snacks?

We do not allow campers to bring any additional snacks to camp due to possible allergies of other campers.

Can campers bring electronic devices?

Electronic devices are not allowed. Kids will have a blast at camp, and one of the best things about camp is being UNPLUGGED.
