What to Expect

Camp is an awesome experience! We can’t wait for your camper to join us this summer! We know that while camp can be exciting, it can also bring questions, especially if it is your child’s first time away. This information is to help your child get to know the Forest Glen camp experience.

Be ready for outdoor adventures! Check the packing list for your specific camp, but generally, you will want to bring the following items (LABEL EVERYTHING!):

  • Swimsuit, Towel, Sunscreen, Water shoes, Hat
  • Clothing suitable for active outdoor activities
  • Overnight camps:
    • Sleeping bag or twin sheet set & pillow
    • Bath towel (in addition to beach towel)
    • Toiletries

CAMP STORE

Forest Glen has a camp store (affectionately called The Broken Paddle) on both the Northshore and Lakeside areas of camp. If your group chooses to have us open the store, you can expect to find a variety of goodies from Forest Glen swag, Ice-cream, Coffee and an assortment of other sweets and treats. Prices range from $1 – $25.

Staying Overnight

Forest Glen overnight campers stay in bunk-style housing. Campers should bring their own bedding. Please check the packing list for your specific camp for more details.
