Our staff goes through intensive training prior to serving our campers, and build meaningful bonds by serving alongside each other.

To be considered for a staff position, every applicant must complete an Online Application. Our application process is a 3 phase process:
Phase 1 ) ONLINE APPLICATION
Phase 2) IN-PERSON INTERVIEW
Phase 3) FINAL PAPERWORK
A personal, face-to-face interview is our first choice, but if this is not possible, then we will review your application and work to set up a phone or video interview at a later date.
LENGTH OF EMPLOYMENT
Lengths of employment vary, from seasonal to year-round. Summer staff are typically hired for either the first half of the summer or second half of the summer depending on availability (and some decided to spend their whole summer with us!). All summer staff are required to attend Staff Training at end of May.
COMPENSATION & TIME OFF
Compensation is based off of school and camp experience. Room and board is provided for all summer staff. Summer staff will also receive one day or two nights off each week. However, the real value of serving at Forest Glen cannot be measured in dollars.
Forest Glen values the commitment of volunteers to help improve our facilities and programs. We always welcome the help and hands of volunteers, from youth groups to retired skill workers.
Staff are responsible for their own transportation to and from camp. Many staff carpool together from different parts of the country.
